bits and pieces
i had a lot of different tastes today. i was craving a bit of this and that so i ate accordingly…
i was in the mood for something sweet before setting out on some errands so i had a bite of a luna bar as well as the last bite of a jamfrakas bar. both very yummy 🙂
when we got back i had put a homemade frozen pizza in the oven for lunch. i’m glad i made a few of these to freeze- it heated up great. this one is topped with broccoli, green beans, and artichoke hearts.
tommy and i went out for a walk after lunch but cut it short because it was freezing outside! i’m glad i still made it out though because we’re expecting snow on sunday and monday. BOO- not a great way to start off march!
dinner was another easy meal- i let the oven do most of the work. on my plate is a pear and arugula salad (have you noticed i like fruit in my salads?), bbq baked tofu and roasted korean sweet potato. not the prettiest dinner, but it tasted good and that’s what matters! i left the tofu in the oven for a while after i turned it off and the slabs shrunk and turned out super chewy- which i enjoyed 🙂
for “dessert” i had a few valentine’s conversation hearts, and the rest of the pear from my dinner salad as well as a bowl of cereal to munch on while watching a movie.
for some reason i’m exhausted right now- and it’s only 9PM. i guess i’m calling it an early night…i’m really hoping the snow doesn’t come til sunday night because i was really looking forward to going to the museum. *fingers crossed*
mmmm I love days of eating like that with little bits of tastes of everything here and there. everything looks yummy!
Love your eats! Delicious!
I also love fruit in salads 🙂 Where could I find Korean sweet potatoes? I’m intrigued!
