i woke up with yet another sore and scratchy throat- i even lost my voice! i wasn’t in any mood to eat, so i nursed two mugs of chai and started my day.
my throat has been hurting the most when i wake up and then the scratchy swollen feeling gradually goes away. i think it’s obvious that my body is telling me that i need this humidifier…right? i thought so… 😀
around 11-ish i started feeling better enough to eat (and i was getting hungry!) so i had an orange and half a luna bar.
i enjoyed this toasted nuts n’ cranberry luna bar- it tastes honey sweet with no chemically aftertaste like some of their frosted bars. plus it has the same taste and sticky texture as a nature’s valley chewy trail mix bar which i used to eat like nobody’s business. i do wish it had more nuts, or bigger chunks atleast to go with the big dried cranberry pieces.
since i was feeling better, i decided to take advantage and get in my yoga for the day…i get so excited whenever i lower from plank without flopping on my stomach! 🙂 i’ve always been a girly-push-up-er so this is a big deal for me. combined with all the wii tennis i’ve been playing lately, my arms have been feeling very sore. who knows, if i keep this up, sleeveless tops may actually be in my future!
for lunch, i put a homemade frozen pizza into the toaster oven along with some acorn squash “fries.” although the pizza stuck to the foil, it was still very yummy. that bite with all the jalapenos was pretty painful though- shoulda spread those out a bit. haha 🙂 i like when the squash skin gets crispy at the ends, so i eat ends of the fries with skin, and then just the fleshy part of the middle.
alright, i should get back to work. it took me forever to write this post because i kept spacing and staring out the window. it looks really nice outside! i may call it an early day and head out and buy that humidifier…see ya later gators!
