wow it’s a gorgeous day outside….i think it’s almost safe to get excited for spring! i’m still sick, but it’s just too nice of a day to stay in bed. i relaxed all morning and then tommy and i took a nice long walk as well as a scenic drive around town :). nothing too crazy, but it was nice to get some fresh air and feel the warm sunshine.
i’ve been feeling hungry throughout the day, but not in the mood for big meals, or cooking. i had a few small bites throughout the day…here’s what i’ve had so far (i also need to go grocery shopping).
smoothie: half banana, frozen strawberries + peaches, soy milk and orange juice…
i split this kashi go lean chocolate almond toffee chewy bar with tom. it tasted like a snickers bar w/o the peanuts. i didn’t realize this was a more of a meal replacement bar (with 290 calories) than a snack, but i’d buy it again if i need a quick meal.
a super ripe and mushy pear
white + brown rice cooked down with adzuki beans and canned pumpkin (i had this in the freezer)
and not pictured, a piece of toast and peanut butter. i’ll probably have one more snack before heading to bed…
sorry that wasn’t much to look at! i’ll go grocery shopping tomorrow and have some real meals to post!
