bites in boston

i’m such a tourist in my own city! πŸ™‚

i met up with my friend nay for lunch at the pru. he wanted to eat at the food court but i really wanted lettuce wraps, so i got ’em to go from p.f. changs and ate them at the food court. genius!

the vegetarian tofu lettuce wraps were good. but aren’t these supposed to come with the rice noodles? i’m still disappointed by absence of crunchies.

my fortune cookie:

this is nay’s lunch, he got a tuna sandwich, which is not exciting. the exciting part is the cookie. paradise bakery chocolate chip cookies are seriously the best cookies ever.

nay is trying to lose weight, so i helped him out by eating half his cookie.

thanks for sharing nay! i’m glad i didn’t have to raid their free samples, because i have no shame when it comes to those (as melinda will attest to).

nay and i killed some time in the area walking n’ talking and eventually parted ways.

haha of course i had to zoom in on that! yay…greek yogurt!

the sight of this immediately made me hungry! luckily, they were giving away free samples across the street.

not greek yogurt, but still plenty yummy. rondele garlic and herbs spread. mmm…

free samples are the best!

while waiting for the train back home, i had a piece of a key lime pie larabar.

and for dinner i had a pink lady apple, swiss cheese slices, and a cabot chocolate raspberry greek yogurt. remember how i raved about this flavor? and you know how sometimes you build something up in your head so much that you just set yourself up for disappointment? that so did not happen with this yogurt. it’s still so freakin’ deliciously wonderful. i need to find the dulce de leche flavor…i have a feeling that’ll be all sorts of awesome as well.

light dinner, i know! i may have something else later, but right now i’m feeling tired, so i may also just fall asleep. hope you all had a good weekend! see ya in the morning!

I’d pay a great deal of money for the Paradise Bakery cookies. And even better…they’re free with your sandwich. If only they had them in Minnesota….
