happy patriots day aka marathon monday!
i had a cabot greek style chocolate raspberry yogurt with slivered almonds to start my day off. i don’t think i’m ever going to get sick of this yogurt! mmmm…chocolate for breakfast!
turns out i was looking at outdated marathon info (acertaincity.com should update their website!) and i missed the elite runners. boo! i still made it out to watch the second wave of runners though. i stayed out for a bit to cheer on the last of the stragglers, and i wanted to give them all a hug! it’s so heartbreaking and inspiring at the same time seeing injured runners reaching mile 8, nearly 2 and a half hours in. i witnessed a few tears, but everyone was still so determined…amazing! my favorite runners are the grandmas and grandpas though, i want to give them extra hugs!
oh…and this guy’s neck is going to hurt so bad tomorrow!
i fixed myself a really quick snack-y plate when i got back in. i was so hungry! the crispbread + portobello + apple slices were such a good combo!
i had the last few slices of apple and an extra crispbread with some pb for dessert 🙂
i can’t believe i went a whole week without peanut butter in the house!
well, i definitely feel motivated to get a good workout in today! i’ll see you tonight 🙂
