almost friday!

April 30, 2009

this morning, i had a perfect sweet and juicy orange, and a piece of honey oat toast with barney butter.

for some reason i thought it was friday today, but i’m still glad that the week is almost over. i’m looking forward to going out this weekend, and visiting new york next week! YAY! i was freezing my butt off the last two visits (especially when i went with tommy in december), so i’m looking forward to walking around without being weighed down by layers of clothes (hopefully i didn’t just jinx it!) πŸ˜€

speaking of clothes…i have an appointment to consign some clothes tomorrow…i’m really excited to get rid of my loose fitting clothes, and *fingers crossed* get enough cash back to buy a new outfit or two…i haven’t lost a crazy amount of weight from last summer, but i’m surprised that even some of my shoes feel big. i wish i could afford to just ditch everything in my closet (except for my handbags- my babies!) and buy a whole new wardrobe! do you guys consign/sell/donate clothes often? or do you hold on to them forever?

oh and this reminds me…remember to enter the daily balance’s fashion friday!

I don’t consign clothes, although I probably should! I mainly give to friends and family or donate.

Oh wow, I never heard about cosigning clothes – that is neat!

I normally just toss them in a big for Goodwill–I’ve never given anything to a big shop like that for cash, but I like the idea! Congrats to you for “downsizing” your closet..in more ways than one πŸ˜‰

Sue….where/how do you consign clothes – I have a TON of stuff (some with tags still on!) that I’ve love to make some cash on….any tips?

    Thanks!

are you in boston? i consign at second time around (they have a few locations) http://secondtimearound.net/ they’re very picky about labels though…
other good ones are poor little rich girl, the garment district (i think they might pay you up front), and the closet.
