i’m feeling pretty monday today. no fun.
i had such a lazy day yesterday…lots of movies, tetris party, and napping in between. there was some food, but not a lot. i dunno, i guess i was just so caught up in doing nada…that even eating seemed like to much to do.
i had a handful of sno-caps in the AM.
for reals, if that’s not the breakfast of champions, i don’t know what is!
and then finally around 4-ish, the whole hunger thing caught up with me. i baked myself some tofu and made a sandwich!
you can’t see the tofu, but it’s in there along with peanut butter smeared on both sides of bread, carrots, tomato, cukes, lettuce, and cilantro. i left the sriracha on the side this time.
and then after a little more movie watching, i made myself a smoothie with 1 kiwi, 3 strawberries, and 1/2 carrot…it was a little thick, so i had to eat it soupie style with a spoon.
this was so fun to eat. when i was a kid, my favorite snack ever were frozen caprisuns. i used to freeze em, and then cut open the top and scrape the frozen juice with a spoon. i was also obsessed with ice. i’d munch on ice all day long and annoy my mom.
anyway, that was it for yesterday. today will be more normal.
i started with yet another smoothie. in honor of my new facebook friend jay robb! i added some of his amazing protein powder to my strawberry, ice + milk blend.
yummy! tastes like a strawberry milkshake. i really want to try his brown rice protein next.
does anyone have a good banana bread recipe? healthy, but not TOO healthy that tom wont eat it, please. i have some mushy bananas and spelt flour i’d like to use up!
