still hungry!

oh man, i was hungry today! i feel like all i did was sleep and eat all day long. before every meal and snack, i hesitated with “i shouldn’t be eating this much” but in the end i just went with it.

breakfast: toast topped with eggs over easy, avocado and salsa


lunch: banana bread and mighty maple peanut butter and yogurt!



afternoon snack: wasa with even more pb & co peanut butters (white choc wonderful, dark choc dreams, mighty maple)


second snack (a couple hours later): wasa with avocado and a french macaron



dinner: vegan sweet potato lentil chili (thank god for freezing leftovers!) topped with the last of my avocado, sriracha and a dollop of nf plain yogurt


dessert: cherry pie larabar


i loved everything i ate today, so i’m not going to regret being a grazing hungry monster….but would you believe i’m still hungry? it’s been about two hours since dinner, and i’ve been drinking lots of water…might have to do something about it 😀

    you really do love avocadoes! I’m trying to get into the habit of liking them myself, given their superb nutritional profile…your breakfast sounds very interesting…think I’ll give that a try!

    the egg/avo/salsa bfast looks delish! don’t worry, we all have these insatiable hunger days – just go with it 😀 loved your NY recap part 1 – again, i was green with jeaolusy!

    Looks like we both had hungry days yesterday! But you handled it well–everything looks great here. Especially the avos. I could eat an avocado every day.

    this kind of unsatisfying hungry happens from time to time…as long as you feed yourself with good healthy food… it’s soooo okay!!! 🙂

    I never thought of eating avocado with my eggs. I may have to try that. (I adore avocado and eggs) I have days when I can’t stop grazing and never seem to fill up, I usually try to at least eat healthy then I don’t feel so bad.

    With all honesty, I love everything you ate today! As I was reading through your post, I kept on saying to myself, “Gotta make that… that looks amazing… absolutely delicious…” – you get the idea 😉 I guess we have similar taste in food!

    Your breakfast looks stellar – I don’t often make myself eggs in the morning, but the avocado/egg/salsa combination looks so good!

    I bet the banana bread w/ mighty maple was fantastic – and you managed to include three of my favorite pb flavors onto that wasa cracker!

    Sweet potato lentil chili is still on my list of “to-make meals”. Your toppings sound like the perfect accompaniments!

    We all have those days when we’re hungrier than usual – my appetite last night was huge 😉
