allergie season

May 16, 2009

i didn’t make it to the garden today– i just couldn’t do it to myself! the allergies won’t be so bad after the rain tomorrow…so i’ll have a busy week of  gardening ahead. i bought two white eggplant plants today, i’m really excited to transfer them…but first i need to finish weeding and figuring out to do with the ant hill on my plot 😦 *sigh*

alright…on to the food.

i really wasn’t in an eating mood this morning. i had a chai tea, apple, and a cookie 😀 okay, maybe i was in an eating mood, and just not in a fixing breakfast mood.

i went out and ran a ton of errands and didn’t get a chance to sit down for lunch until 3-ish.

i was staaaarving and made myself a quick chili burrito (i added cheese to the mix today- cus it’s the weekend and all)

i was still hungry after this monster so i made myself a salad afterwards. i love fruit in salads!

i was perfectly full after my big lunch, but of course i had another cookie 🙂

well, i have to make myself look presentable now. tommy and i are going to meet up with my friend nay for dinner. i’m really excited because i’ve been looking forward to trying this restaurant for a while now.

see you later tonight…or tomorrow morning most likely! happy weekending!

Lovely eats, sorry to hear about the allergies, and ant hill? o_0 I am not a big fan of ants.

    What a great blog!

It must be amazing to have your own garden plot! I can’t wait to get a house so I can do the same. 🙂
Amazing looking food- especially the salad. I love adding fruit to my salad too!

    Have a great night!

Sorry about your allergies. That’s no fun. Good for you for finding a way to still eat something for breakfast but also listen to your body say it didn’t want much.
