empty fridge

May 20, 2009

ehi guys! it’s humpday! i started this post last night but fell asleep with my head on my laptop 😀

i was working with a pathetic fridge yesterday:

sad, right? carrots and limp celery in the crisper…no fruit!

for breakfast i had a glass of milk and a pb & jelly sandwich with more jelly than pb- i topped it with another slice of bread after the pic.

i considered another sammie for lunch, but i wasn’t in the mood for another peanut butter and jelly so i scrounged the cabinets….

i found this leftover piece of larabar….yum

and opened this box of mochi i had bought at the chinese market cus they were ridiculously cheap.

i took a bite out of each…and they were all pretty bad 😦 i’m hoping sticking the box in the freezer will change the texture because it was so gummy and gross.

i consoled myself with a million of these dried mango pieces.

tom worked late and didn’t want to do a big grocery shop, so i just bought enough to get to the weekend.

i also grabbed a prepared greek salad to have for dinner.

i ate some of it wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla spread with a boatload of hummus…

it was so good, that i did the same with the remaining salad. (not pictured cus it looked exactly the same 😀

Honey WHAT IS THAT sorry excuse for a fridge?!?!? go buy yourself from fresh produce! Or make Tom buy you some. heheheh Although I must say….the mochi looks good. Sorry they were gummy, that’s probably why they were on sale hon!!!
