it’s summertime in massachusetts! finally!

when the sun is shining (especially on the weekend), all i want to do is go to the beach, and today we did exactly that.

i nibbled on some cucumber slices and a piece of toast while making sandwiches in the morning. we packed up the cooler with lots of snacks and hit the road!

i was hungry upon arrival and immediately started the snacking. i broke into the carrot sticks, and trader joe’s tortilla chips and chunky salsa.

i ate way more chips than pictured, natch.

and then there was some sunbathing.

tommy and i cooled down with some watermelon and a dip in the ocean…

then i worked on my tan some more.

lunch was a pb & jelly sandwich on some very yummy muesli bread.

ahh i love sunny summer days!

bye bye beachie, hope to see you again soon!

on the drive home, i had some cherries…

and a nonfat chai latte.

hope you all had a happy weekend!

Oh I just love your floppy hat! I’ve always wanted one and it’s just one of those things I have never bought for some reason. So glam!
