short & sweet

July 29, 2009

hello friends!

this post is going to be short and sweet. my meals have been incredibly boring for two major reasons. first, i’m lazy. second, my apartment feels like a sauna every time i turn on the stove…so thank god for smoothies and yogurt!

sunday

breakfast- fresh pineapple chunks

lunch- crack wrap + pickles

snack- stonyfield peach yogurt + nature’s path red berry crunch cereal

dinner- peanut butter on whole wheat toast + chocolate cherry berry smoothie

this smoothie was made with soy milk, frozen blueberries, fresh cherries, and unsweetend cocoa powder. it tastes like dessert!

monday

breakfast- peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

lunch- chocolate cherry berry smoothie. (yum!)

dinner- stonyfield vanilla yogurt + nature’s path red berry crunch cereal…look at all the flax seeds in it!

see? nice n’ short, right? i took pics of everything but since i repeated the same 3 things (yogurt, smoothie, pb sandwich) both days, i decided to spare you the repetition 🙂 also, can you tell i’m craving sweet over savory? i really want to eat sour gummies and chocolate all day.

i’ll be back later and then we should be all caught up! have a happy wednesday!

Ah yes thank goodness for smoothies, yogurts, and salads. Turning the oven on makes me sweat like crazy!

Smoothie + toast is a simple and yummy meal. I’m a sweet tooth gal too, and these kinds of dishes makes me eat less desserts 😉
