hello blog world! it’s almost 3AM…where did my day go?! i can’t even remember what i did today!

oh well, happy friday!

i’ve got three days of (unexciting) meals for you. it’s clean-out-the-fridge mode up in here, so choices were limited.

tuesday:

breakfast: tomato soup and 2 slices of wheat toast.

snack: self explanatory

lunch: skipped

dinner: bean & cheese burrito with kale chips (which look horrible and burnt in this pic…eek!)

wednesday:

breakfast: blueberry smoothie…bulked up with some korean raw foods powder (saeng shik). love the color!

lunch: skipped

dinner: veggie wrap with hummus and bbq sauce

after dinner, i baked some vegan cookies! chocolate thumbprint cookies from vegan with a vengeance

and peanut butter cookies from a recipe that i found online. these weren’t that great (kinda dry) so i won’t link it.

i had one of each and a few tastes of the batter (i can’t resist cookie dough…especially when i don’t have to worry about raw eggs!)

thursday:

no breakfast…i was busy zzzzzzzing.

lunch: chicken tender lunch combo at bugaboo creek (this wacky alaska/ moose-y themed chain restaurant).

the combo came with soup (chicken tortilla) salad w/ honey mustard and chicken tenders and two chocolate chip cookies. the food was not good 😦 i didn’t finish it…not even the cookies!

snacky: a hugeeeee homemade iced coffee and a handful of apple jacks!

dinner: fried rice (with brown rice, mixed veg and egg topped with sriracha). look at how mushy and clumpy my rice came out…i just can’t seem to cook rice anymore. i’m such a disgrace to asians 😦

and finally, i’m all caught up with my meals! i’m sorry my posts have been so lacking in content…and personality. i am just trying to get  some things done- including losing this extra flab…and really, talking about it isn’t getting anywhere. i just need to DO it. i hope that makes sense. either way, super duper thank yous to those who continue to read and comment- especially since i haven’t been commenting much myself!

also, i don’t know why i feel the need to say this, but please don’t shout at me for skipping meals! the heat has zapped my appetite and i just don’t see the point of forcing myself to eat every meal. i’m usually home anyways, so i have access to food if i get hungry…or feel like i’m gonna pass out!

well, i went grocery shopping today so my meals will be a bit less boring tomorrow (hopefully)…i’ll let you know! 🙂

    No worries about boring meals. Blogs are to see your life – food’s not always exciting. Although I understand the desire to make meals more interesting for the viewing public. I love your cookies!

    WHY DIDN’T YOU EAT ALL YOUR MEALS?! lol juuuust kidding 😉 Don’t sweat it girl, I’m sure your sweating enough from the heat! Your tomato soup breakfast reminds me of what my roommate had this morning: toast with pasta sauce and melted cheddar. Pizza toast!

    Something about the simplicity of the bean burrito makes it sound really good. I wish I could like kale chips, though. Maybe I cooked mine wrong, but they just tasted really sour 😦
