sugar fix

August 12, 2009

today’s weigh in: 126 even! yay…one pound away from the weight on my driver’s license! haha 🙂

for breakfast, i had a chobani greek yogurt topped with nature’s path cereal.

this breakfast was especially exciting because i got to try the (not so) new chobani pineapple flavor! i’m not really a fruit on the bottom fan…but this was a good one.

my lunch included one of my favorite foods EVER….zucchini fries! these are bit healthier than the version i used to eat (way too often) in high school. they are coated in italian seasoned whole wheat bread crumbs and baked. the zucchini was eaten dipped in a spicy marinara sauce, and i had tuna salad and tomato sliced to round out the meal.

i desperately needed a sugar fix in the late afternoon. i searched the kitchen and came out with this:

frozen pineapple with a drizzle of hershey’s syrup.

that didn’t do it for me though…so when dinner came around…i made it sweet.

i had a apricot preserves and peanut butter sandwich on yoga bread and some dark chocolate.

i forgot to restock on peanut butter, but luckily i found this which had just enough for a small sandwich 🙂
