panera to the rescue

August 18, 2009

my internet has been so damn slow lately. yesterday, i decided to head over to panera bread to take advantage of their free wi-fi (and air conditioning!)

first though, since my closest panera bread happens to be right next to target…i shopped a little πŸ™‚

among other un-essentials, i picked up these flippie floppies from the kid’s section

and these emerald cocoa roast almond 100 calorie packs that were on sale. i sampled a pack as soon as i paid for them…and oh my gosh they are SO good! the 100 calorie serving is pretty small…but these would be dangerous to have around if they weren’t pre-portioned.

(floating almonds)

at panera i got a multi-grain bagel with cream cheese and an iced green tea. i haven’t had a bagel in sooo long, it was exactly what i was craving!

it was nice working from somewhere other than home…it can get lonely being all alone 😦 i think i’m going to do it again a couple more times this week…what should i order next time?

i guess they deserve a little logo placement since panera is pretty awesome for having free wi-fi!

i hit the gym after i got back and had a miserable workout. it was extra crowded, the good machines were taken, the ac wasn’t cool enough, and blah blah blah. basically, i didn’t wanna be there but i stuck it out for over an hour and left nice and sweaty.

when i got in, i was hungry but i didn’t feel like moving.

i had an apple and sprawled out under the ac vent.

after i cooled off some, i had some cucumbers and carrots with guacamole and trader joe’s salsa….and if you know me at all, you know i had some tortilla chips too.

i love these little baby persian cucumbers.

crunch munch! πŸ™‚

see ya later!

Panera’s is the best! I love their black bean soup but I’ve never tried their bagels or breakfast items.

everyone thinks Im strange for adding other condiments. ie. salsa + guac, or hummus on one delish cuke or chip!
    Its dang delicious!

that’s a pretty pair of floppies. I’ll have to begin to look in kids section too! Do you wear #4? I though my feet are small (5-6) πŸ˜€

kid’s size 4 is about an adult size 5/6…the kids section has cute stuff and it’s usually cheaper πŸ™‚

I love Panera. They have tasty hot chocolate, especially. And great, if large, bagels.
    Cute shoes!
