so as usual i’m awake at 2AM, though i like to think i’m just on west coast time 🙂 and my sleep schedule isn’t all messed up.
i skipped breakfast this morning…i just wasn’t in the mood for it. i did have an iced chai with soy milk cus i’m addicted. after paying like $4 for one at gloria jean’s and watching the guy pour some boxed concentrate into a cup…i decided i need to start making these at home so i won’t be tempted to waste my cash when i’m out. i just soaked like half a box of tea bags in a teapot of hot water to make about 4-5 cups worth of chai lattes. yay, twenty dollars in my pocket!
i had fish for lunch. i’ve never met a fish i don’t like (love!) but i hate cooking it by myself so i don’t eat it as often as i want. anyway, my craving for fish was intense enough for me to pick up a couple filets to make at home. i can’t even remember what kinda fish this is but i just rubbed with a little evoo, salt and peppered and popped it in the oven.
the salad is romaine with baby roma tomatoes, persian cucumbers, avocado and trader joe’s salsa.
my afternoon snack was a granny smith apple before hitting the gym.
dinner was definitely influenced by the weather. it’s too hot to cook!
i had plain yogurt, with a sliced banana and peanut butter puffins!
just seeing this makes me wanna walk over to the kitchen and grab a handful of puffins. must.resist! or else i’d never be able to stop.
i had a few bites of other things throughout the day…i made meatballs in the slow cooker, and sampled one…and i also had one of these:

speaking of sugar! i need dessert help! i need to make dessert to bring to a birthday potluck…my plan is to make brownies, and something non-chocolate-y as well…maybe lemon squares, or zucchini bread… what’s your favorite way to “doctor up” box mix brownies? and what else should i make? recipes?
