don pablo’s

September 5, 2009

i’m back and holy guacamole am i exhausted!

i fly out to socal tomorrow and i have loads of laundry and other shizzles to get done…but all i want to do is sit here and zone out.

also, i feel like i’m still on a rocking boat- the ground feels like it’s rolling under me! crazy…

i took a gazillion pictures so i have lots and lots to post. i probably won’t have a chance to blog much in cali so i’m going to schedule cruise recap posts for the next week…today i’ll start with my last meal in orlando which was last sunday night before we drove out to cape canaveral. tom was in the mood for mexican so we just drove around and stopped at the first mexican place we saw: don pablo’s mexican kitchen.

i’ve never heard of don pablos- but i’m guessing it’s a chain restaurant…

hot and fresh tortilla chips + spicy salsa…my downfall!

and sangria!

tom started with una chicken quesadilla, and i had a slice…

and ate all the guacamole that came with it…like this:

for my entree, i got a shrimp fajita salad

i was watching tyler florence yesterday and he was making fun of sizzling fajita platters…but i think they’re fun.

since i already ate my weight in tortilla chips- i removed those and the cheese off the salad and enjoyed everything else.

we left the restaurant nursing some serious food babies…

so we walked around a bit on i-drive to digest before passing out back at the hotel.

I would do some serious damage to that bowl of chips & salsa, too, as well as those fajitas. That is exactly what I would have ordered. Fun night!
