my week in carbs
don’t worry, not another vermont post! who knew a little weekend trip would require so many blog posts! 🙂 it’s such a pretty state though!
so today, i’m back to good ol’ food, food, food posting.
these are the groceries from earlier this week…mostly from trader joes, but i also made a stop in whole foods and roche bros for some extras.
very necessary buys = vino and sea salt dark chocolate ❤
other favorites: puffins, broccoli slaw n spicy hummus!
the everything crackers and hummus are already dun-zo. the serving sizes for hummus are totally unrealistic, there’s just no way that tub has more than four servings. five tops!
here are some meals i’ve been eating…
(get ready for carby delights ahead)
i had a breakfast burrito a few times this week. must have been in an eggy mood.
whole wheat tortilla, 1 egg, 1 egg white scrambled, tomato, sprinkling of cheese and ketchup. the ketchup is key.
trader joe’s quiche lorraine and una ensalada with annie’s cowboy ranch dressing.
this week has also been pizza week
homemade on tj’s herby dough:
whole wheat pita pizza
french baguette pizza (i like the end pieces)
more carbs: baked sweet potato and cheese tortellini
crushed red pepper on everything 🙂
here’s a real tough question…
pumpkin or sweet potato?
