holiday on natick common
i’m back in massachusetts!
after spending a few weeks under the california sun- the cold weather is a bit of a drag. BUT, the snowfall we had this weekend has really put me in the holiday spirit!
on sunday, i went over to natick common to participate in my town’s “holiday on the common” festivities.
with a fresh dusting of snow on the ground and the sun sun shining, it was a nice day to be out!
there was christmas music by carolers in front of the first congregational church across from the common.
and more my speed, a church bake sale benefiting the metro west interfaith hospitality network which helps homeless families with children.
sugary treats for a good cause? yes, please! i bought frosted brownie bites which were enjoyed immediately. 🙂
yum!
then we crossed over to the common and crashed the kid’s activity table and made an ornament for the town christmas tree 🙂
look mom! 🙂 please pretend that my eyebrows are drawn in!
there was also free coffee and hot cocoa courtesy of the charles river rotary, a toy drive and santa and his friends to take pics with.
we won’t comment on what “famous” bear this guy looks like…eek!
I love anything sweet with frosting!
