Me
hello, i’m sue!
i have big hair, wear way to much eyeliner and can eat an unnatural amount of hummus. i love froyo, frilly dresses and hello kitty. i hate flocks of birds, snow, and driving. when i grow up i want to have toy poodles of every color and name them after my favorite desserts. my first will be a red toy named baby carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and my next will be a chocolate baby named chocopie.
i started this blog before my 27th birthday because i was turning another year close to 30 and i really needed to get my act together. there are so many girls in their 20’s who just seem like they know what they’re doing- getting married, buying a house, popping out babies. i know they have their own problems, but comparing my life to theirs was making me freak out! i need to figure out life, and do stuff like lose the last 15 pounds, save money, and stop shopping in target’s kid’s section. as i get older, i’m also more aware of how an unhealthy lifestyle can sneak up on you. i’m determined to get fit and lose weight in a healthy way. no more mary kate and ashley diets (cigs and coffee) or juice fasts (cran n vodka). so here’s to checking the whole weight loss thing off my do list before tackling the bigger things…like not passing out in bars and wearing shoes i can walk in.
please e-mail me and say hello!
sueeeeeeeeee ❤ omg!!! how did i NOT know about this?!?!?!

I found another hello kitty lover!!! HI there! ~~~ 😀
Hey Sue! Thanks for commenting on my blog! I’m supah happy cuz it led me to yours, which I adore!
yay, so happy to find your blog! i’m going to be 27 in like 2 minutes and it’s such a crazy age to be linking to myself. it sounds so adult, but i guess i don’t define adulthood in that married-babies-house way that many of my friends do, either. ack, age!! where does the time go?
ah. killer style my pretty!
im totally coveting that
plaid dress/gold capelet
combo for sureeee. eek!!
whata you do if not advertising!?
i need some suggestions because
im not gettin a job anytime soon.
I love your attitude! And the cute pics 🙂
Cool blog- and don’t worry- life has a way of working itself out. When I was 27, I felt the same way….now, at the “old” : ) age of 34, I realize that I had such great times in my twenties and I’m glad I enjoyed every bit of it.
You are adorable! Don’t feel bad – I’m 26 and fall into that “responsible” married category, but still don’t have my act together. Being married just means you have the same problems with a ring on your finger (and sometimes, a different last name). Glad I stumbled across your blog – super fun! 🙂
Hi Sue,
I noticed your comment on Jenna’s site and wanted to extend a special offer to you in case you wanted to get your own “Book Buddy” lap desk.
When you check out, simply use the code is ELR609 for 10% off your entire order. Our offer is valid from today through June 30 and you can use it as many times as you want.
Since you are a brilliant writer (I’m a food blogger, too!), I invite you to check out our blog and please consider sending me a post about what brings you comfort! I will publish and link back to your site, of course.
Thanks again and look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
Mandy

Haha love the pictures! And oh my goodness–I have hated birds sometime since jr. high when I had some traumatic incidences. So gross!

OMG, I stumbled across this blog when researching my cruise to the Bahamas, and was pleasantly surprised to read your blog. You are funny, cute, and full of life! From one Hello Kitty lover to another–great blog!!
BTW–still deciding to do the Atlantis excursion since we’re not docked until 1pm, and I’m TERRIFIED of water (even though deep down I love it).
