sunday morning in vermont
happy happy thursday!
i’m so looking forward to this weekend…i have no plans for halloween yet but i’m still excited! hopefully i’ll finish my vermont weekend recap before halloween! i’m sorry i’m dedicating so many posts to it…i have nothing on going on in my life and i took so many pictures- i might as well share them all, right? 🙂 anyway, before i start rambling here are some pictures from our sunday morning in vermont.
sunday lived up to it’s name and it was gloriously sunny! we were so thankful after our wet dreary saturday. we were also quite happy to see this little spread laid out for us in the breakfast room.
the innkeeper goes to church on sundays so she put out a continental breakfast of fruit and bread for us to enjoy at our leisure.
i had some more lovely spiced chai tea.
and some of this walnut studded bread. the icing on it was my favorite part- i think it was maple?
buh-bye cute little b&b!
we drove down the road to the vermont country store which is part general store and part souvenir shop. they sold all types of things including housewares, clothes, toys, etc.
(excuse my crazy hair- it was windy)
and in true vermont-fashion there was lots of yummy food and samples! thankfully our breakfast was light and i had plenty of room in my tummy 🙂
apple butter, raw almond butter, cashew butter, sun butter…omg i was in heaven!
button cookies with cheesecake dip! i don’t even like cheesecake…but i was all over this stuff. so good!
after we ate our weight in samples, we bought some souvenirs and found the kissing bridge!
aww ❤
then it was time to hit the road! our next destination was about an hour north.
ahh! isn’t the foliage so pretty? i can’t believe i had never been to vermont before. i promise i have just one more post before i’m done with these recaps!
Wow, Vermont looks awesome! I’ve never been there, but I hear it’s great. I had a good friend in hs who went to Vermont for college and I was jealous whenever she told me about how cool it was and how much there was to do there.. Thanks for sharing your great photos!
Just catching up–these pictures look like they should be in Real Simple or something. The trip looks so picturesque!
