brown eggs!
i was all excited to dye some easter eggs today only to find that the new carton of eggs we bought are brown!
i know they’re all the same, but do you guys have an egg shell color preference? eggs are brown in MA- which i know has to do with the variety of local hens. but in CA, most of the eggs on supermarket shelves are white and sometimes i’ll go out of my way to buy white eggs just cus it reminds me of home 😛
i figure we should finish up this carton of brown eggs before buying more to dye, so we had scrambles for breakfast. in mine went 1 egg, 1 egg white, spinach, mushroom, potato, and tomato. i also enjoyed some deliciously ripe cantaloupe (yay, i chose a good one!) and sliced strawberries on the side.
i guess i’m getting car stuff done today. now that it’s getting warmer, i think it’s time to replace that burnt out headlight so i can stay out past sunset!

dyeing eggs must be so fun! hope you do get white ones next time – i never even thought about it, but now i realise in japan we get white eggs and in UK we get brown
aren’t the brown ones more healthy? like more natural? or i’m just getting things all weird.

I can relate about the eggs. I just had to get white ones too, because all I had was brown in the house:) Boys are older now, but love the tradition of decorating the night before Easter. But, they don’t eat them! I’m the only one in the house to eat a hard boiled egg LOL! Any ideas?
